ICP produces 75 MGY per year of beverage and industrial-grade alcohol and fuel grade ethanol from a continuous fermentation process originally designed by Vogelbusch. ICP has added additional distillation and refining capacity to create high-quality alcohol which produces high-value products that are distinct from fuel ethanol. Corn is received by truck. Located on the Illinois River, alcohol, ethanol, and feed products are typically shipped by barge to US and international markets. Corn oil is trucked to nearby biodiesel plants.
