The Aurora West plant is a 100 MGY plant that began operations in 2012 and is integrated with the Aurora West elevator. It is a highly efficient batch fermentation process designed by Delta-T. Combined with the adjacent Aurora West Elevator, the campus has over four million bushels of storage capacity and rail capacity to handle more than two hundred rail cars on the site for unit train operations for both corn and ethanol. Its ethanol and distiller grain products are sold by rail to domestic and to export markets and also to local feedlots and ethanol customers. Corn oil is sold by truck to local biodiesel markets.
