Biorefineries and Locations

The nine Pacific Ethanol biorefineries have a combined operating capacity of 605 million gallons per year. The production facilities in the western region are strategically located in the feed and fuel markets they serve; the Midwestern biorefineries are located near feedstock sources and are directly linked to strong markets for ethanol and co-products.

Located in Aurora, Nebraska, Aurora East began operations in 1995 and sells ethanol, distillers grains, and corn oil.

Located in Aurora, Nebraska, Aurora West began operations in 2012 and sells ethanol, distillers grains, and corn oil.

Columbia - OR

Columbia - OR

Located at the Port of Morrow in Boardman, Oregon, the Columbia biorefinery began operations in August 2007 and sells ethanol, wet distillers grains, corn oil, and CO2.

Madera - CA

Madera - CA

Located in Madera, California, the Madera biorefinery began operations in October 2006 and sells ethanol, wet distillers grains, corn oil.

Magic Valley - ID

Magic Valley - ID

Located in Burley, Idaho, the Magic Valley biorefinery began operations in April 2008 and sells ethanol, wet distillers grains, corn oil.

Pekin Dry Mill - IL

Located in Pekin, Illinois the Pekin dry mill began operations in 2007 and produces ethanol, wet and dry distiller grains, and corn oil.

Pekin ICP - IL

Pekin ICP - IL

Located in Pekin, Illinois

with direct access to the Illinois River
ICP produces fuel-grade ethanol, beverage and industrial-grade alcohol, dry distillers grain (DDG) and corn oil. The facility has direct access to end-markets via barge, rail, and truck, and expands Pacific Ethanol’s domestic and international distribution channels.

Pekin Wet Mill - IL

Located on the east bank of the Illinois River, Pekin has produced ethanol and many of its co-products since 1981.

Pekin Yeast - IL

Pekin Yeast - IL

Located in Pekin, Illinois the Pekin Yeast plant mill began operations in 1999 and produces distiller's yeast for animal, pet, and human food applications. The yeast from Pekin is AIB food grade and Kosher certified.

Stockton - CA

Stockton - CA

Located in Stockton, California, the Stockton biorefinery began operations in September 2008 and sells ethanol, wet distillers grains, corn oil.
