Summary
The Madera dry mill and distillery began operations in 2006. It is a highly efficient batch fermentation process designed by Delta-T. It includes a 1.4 million bushel grain elevator with a loop track that receives corn by unit train from the Midwest. All of Madera’s products are sold locally by truck. Madera self generates much of its electricity with an on-site 5 MW solar energy plant. The Madera mill produces high protein feed, corn oil, and low carbon renewable fuel.
